A natural-process lot from Anasora in the highlands of Guji, southern Ethiopia. Fully ripe coffee cherries are dried slowly with the fruit still on, leaving a sweet aroma of berries and tropical fruit in the bean. In the cup, it opens with red-fruit brightness, a light floral lift, and the winey sweetness natural coffees are loved for. Expressive without feeling heavy, it becomes more aromatic as it cools. A cup for the days when your usual coffee could use a little more color.
